In my opinion, I say I'm a pretty good softball player. I'm definitely not the best, but I'm not the worst either. On my team, I bat 3rd in my lineup, which means I'm the 3rd hitter. This season, I hit an inside the park home run! I was so proud of myself. We won that game by the way.
Last year, my swing got kind of messed up. I couldn't hit the ball and I could hit grounders a lot. The only reason that it did get messed up was because my new coach was teaching me something completely different from what my previous coaches taught me. I just don't think I was used to him teaching. But, I'm back on track now! I've been taking hitting lessons with BJ, he's a softball coach for one of the high schools around where I live. He's really good at explaining things and showing me what to do on different drills we do. I think that's why I'm hitting good again. Plus, my coaches for my softball team are really good at teaching, too.
